Lewis H. Hargett (1906-1991) from Scotsville, Kentucky came to Lexington bringing with him strong family, moral, spiritual, civic, and ethical values. He began building in 1937.

Hargett Corporation undertakes each project with an experienced, competent team ready to build a quality project, delivered on time within budget. Our Project Manager and Superintendent teams have a combined 250 years of experience in the building industry, alongside an established list of qualified local trades people. Hargett Corporation is able to consistently maintain its excellence on any size project. In the new millennium, Hargett Corporation continues to bid prospective projects in Central Kentucky, and strives to establish design-build relationships with prominent local architectural firms.
