Built On a Firm Foundation
Lewis H Hargett (1906-1991) from Scottsville, Kentucky came to Lexington bringing with him strong family, moral, spiritual, civic and ethical values. He began building in 1937, and the family tradition continues today.
In the new millennium, Hargett Corporation continues to bid prospective projects in Central Kentucky, and maintains established relationships with prominent local architectural firms. We are attentive to our client’s needs and expectations and consistently strive to achieve excellence on any size project through hard work and dedication.

Some things never change…The Hargett commitment to quality and trust remains strong in our family’s third generation as it did with our founder.
Some things do change… The way we do things has continued to adapt and modernize since Lewis first brought his building ability to Central Kentucky. Larry and Ron Hargett have vowed to carry on their father’s vision of quality construction, ethical business practices, and building trust with clients. They, as well as the next family generation of builders, along with our experienced project managers and superintendents want to prove that standards of the past combined with new technology result in successful projects for you, our customer.
